A real person reads every message.

You are in a clip and want it gone

In the app: open the clip, tap the flag, choose I’m in this. Those reports are seen first. Without the app, write to the privacy address with roughly where and when it was filmed. You do not need an account or a reason.

Somebody keeps filming things you would rather not see

From a clip’s flag, choose Don’t show me moments from this person. We never tell you who they are, and they are never told. You can clear your blocks in Settings.

A clip is wrong, unsafe, or not where it says

Report it from the flag and pick the reason. Reporting does not take a clip down on its own — a person at Whimzi decides. If several people report the same clip it is hidden while they look.

Nothing is showing near me

Whimzi opens one neighbourhood at a time. If it is not live where you are, tap Tell me when it’s live here — or film something and be the first. Check that location is allowed for Whimzi in your phone’s settings, too.

My moment did not post

A moment has to reach us within 20 minutes of filming, so a clip cannot arrive hours later pretending to be fresh. If you were offline the whole time, it could not go up. Filming needs location on, because a moment with no place has nowhere to show.

Using less data

Settings → Save data. On mobile data the grid holds still frames instead of playing, and what you film uploads smaller.
